The previous post stated that students registered for SP4-08 were not affected by the account reset; this is incorrect. Student accounts registered for SU4-08 should be unaffected. The exception to this is accounts with non-standard usernames (first initial + middle initial + last name; e.g. gwbush).
If you are unable to login to iDEAL, your account may have been reset. In this case, please login using your NGU username and password (same as your NGU email).
If you are still unable to login to iDEAL, please send an email to ideal@ngu.edu. Please include your full name (first, middle, and last), username, and Student ID number. Do NOT send your password.
Student Accounts in iDEAL have been reset. Students will need to login using an NGU username and password.
Students registered for SP4-08 should not be affected by this change. Instructors should also be unaffected.
If you have any questions or problems, please send an email to ideal@ngu.edu. Please include your full name, username, and Student ID number. Do NOT include your password.
In an effort to improve the user experience with iDEAL, user accounts will be reset on Thursday, May 1, 2008. Following the reset, you will be able to login to iDEAL using your NGU username and password. Further details to come over the next few weeks.
The user database for iDEAL was corrupted Tuesday morning, preventing many users from logging in. If you are unable to login to iDEAL using your previous username and password, you will need to reset your password using the "Lost password?" on the iDEAL home page. After entering your username on the "Forgotten password" page, you will receive an email with further instructions to reset your password.
To the left you will find a link to a page that contains several iDEAL video tutorials. These tutorials have been created to give faculty iDEAL users an extra resource regarding a large number of functions available within the iDEAL system.
The library of video tutorials will continue to grow as more tutorials are added. Please don't hesitate to contact NGU Information Services if you need assistance.
